Curriculum: For Bible, our curriculum and text are the Bible. We write our own lessons.

For other subjects, we use some textbooks that are published by Christian companies and some textbooks that are published by secular companies. Science lessons involve hands-on experience.

Enrichment

The enrichment program was set up to give those students who truly thirst for knowledge the opportunity to be further challenged. The program allows for extensive work with critical thinking, problem solving, debating, higher level math development and reading discussion groups.

Entrance into the program is based on a number of criteria. The criteria used are teacher recommendation, grades with the regular classroom, standardized testing scores, behavior and IQ.

Each class meets two times per week for 45 minutes. Our 2nd and 3rd graders meet together, as do our 5th and 6th graders.

Specials

In addition to our core subjects, the elementary has a number of special classes that are taught each week. These special classes include the following: Art, Music, Spanish, Library and Physical Education. Enrichment classes are also offered for gifted students as an enhancement to the core curriculum.
