TRANSFORMED, is the college and young adult ministry of Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia. We exist to provide a place where young men and women can come and gather to worship God and build meaningful relationships with each other. We believe the center of everything we do is Jesus Christ and that is why we get together and study God’s Word, to hear from Him.

We believe God is passionate about working in our lives, transforming us from what we used to be into what He desires for us. Along with that is His desire for us to grow in our relationship with Him, understanding His love for us. Learning God loves us because we are His sons and daughters, not because of anything we do and anything we work to achieve. As Peter says, “Growing in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 2 Peter 3:18
Out of that understanding should flow a heart of compassion to a lost and hurting world all around us. We seek to be a light to those around us and to serve in whatever ways the Lord leads us.

We also recognize the need for meaningful relationships. We believe God has made us for fellowship with one another and we are strengthened by one another. We emphasize small groups where people can be open and vulnerable and grow in a way that might not happen in a larger setting. We also love just hanging out and we appreciate the joy and the freedom that God has given to us.

What we do –

Monday nights – meet together at 7:30 in the CPAC Auditorium for worship, prayer and studying the Bible together.
1st Monday of each month – Koinonea – a time after the normal study to stick around for more worship, prayer and communion.

Small Groups – There are different groups throughout the month that meet in homes with an emphasis on fellowship, prayer and discussion on various topics in the Bible.

Fellowship – we get together at different times in the month to hang out and do things that we all enjoy. From athletics to coffee houses we have a lot of different things going on so pick up a calendar and find out what is coming up!

Outreach – we join together to reach out to people, from those around us to those around the world, come experience the joy of giving back and serving in the name of Jesus. Grab a calendar to find out what is coming up in the near future.

We hope to see you sometime soon……
