Children's Ministry

Sunday School - We here at Calvary Chapel believe that every child should know the love of Christ through the teaching of His Word, therefore the entire Bible will be taught to your child.

Our Sunday School begins with newborn infants, and continues all the way through 5th grade.

Newborn through the age of two year olds are cared for in our four-room nursery area. Each room is broken down into six-month increments, and is fully equipped with age appropriate, sanitized toys. All toys, baby swings, exer-saucers, high chairs, and cribs are cleaned and sterilized after each service.

It is our goal to provide an environment that is as germ free as possible for each child.

Within our nursery is another room that is set aside specifically for nursing moms. Rocking chairs, and a closed circuit TV are provided so moms don’t miss worship, or any of Pastor Joe’s teaching!

Beginning at the age of two, your child will begin to learn and experience the love of Christ through worship and an age appropriate craft. Of course there is lots of time for play, and fun!

By the time your child is three he or she will not only be taught to worship our God through song, but they will begin to journey through His Word with any easy to understand lesson, that is re-enforced with a coloring sheet, and simple craft.

During our 9:45 and 11:45 Sunday am services your 4 year old through 2nd grade aged child will get to enjoy our kids club program.

Kids Club is an exciting fun way to make the Bible come alive through song, puppets, and acting. Your child will enjoy an interactive time of worship, where they will learn new songs, combined with hand motions, to enhance their worship experience. During worship they will sing with our very own “puppy dog” Snappy! Snappy is a cute, and fun loving dalmation puppet that children love. He makes our Kids Club come alive!

After their time of worship, your child’s Bible lesson will be brought to life as our energetic actors transport your child to “Bible time” where they will be taught God’s Word through a live action skit. All lessons taught in Kids Club are re-enforced once your child gets back into their classroom.

Our 3rd through 5th graders are broken down according to their grade level, and introduced to a more in-depth, one on one study of God’s Word. In addition to the study of His Word, we stress the meaning and importance of worshipping the Lord through music, and song.
