Next volunteer day: July 31---Bus Transportation Provided!!

Our second volunteer day was another awesome blessed day of work, fellowship, and food!!!  We poured the concrete floor in the pole barn, and the work went miraculously.  The Lord assembled a great team of men who had never worked together before.  A large pour like this can be very stressful, due to time constraints, but there was no bickering, no vying for position, no problems.  48 yards of concrete were in place by 11 am!!  Anyone who knows anything about concrete knows how wonderful this is.

Other activities included more of the tree filing, land clearing, and land cleanup.  Our team included men, women, young, and old.  The Lord provided a way for all to be used that day, and it was a beautiful thing.

Lunch was straight from Philly, provided by Diantonios catering, with cheese steaks, hoagies, and all the sides.

The day got hot, but now we have the pole barn to set up operations.

Our permits are in and the site work has begun.  Lord willing, we will begin on the first house on the next volunteer day, July 31, 2010.

Do you still want updates on this?  Please reply if you are no longer involved.  It would also help us to know if you have particular skills, although no skills are needed;  just a willing heart to serve

Numerous volunteer opportunities will be available over the course of the property development. This section of the site will make those opportunities known and available to those who would like to volunteer their time and talents.

For directions use the map below.  When passing the river on Rt 115, continue on RT 115 and look for the Pappion and Moyer construction sign.
