Upon mornings arrival
the light pouring in
eyes open dim
my heart will rise
to the high call
to the potters hands
I surrender all
as all is silent and faint
my heart is still my mind is
straight
pressing toward the mark
the things which were, had come
once
before, they've come and gone,
forgotten all the more
new things shall come
and there, is where my heart
lies
