– Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia –
In 2016 we saw the Lord’s hand at work through CCPhilly, as a bible teaching church for 35 years. We see the focus on the faithful teaching of His Word grow each week by His grace. We have seen Him continue to open doors for serving Him here in Philadelphia as well as ministering the Gospel across the world. The following is a brief look at how God used our fellowship to further His kingdom throughout 2016.
I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

“This message by Pastor Tony Evans is very timely. Race is an important topic of discussion right now in our country. I strongly encourage you to listen to this message, and then encourage others to do the same.”
-Pastor Joe Focht
“Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father , and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
-Matthew 28:16-20
Through the addictions ministry, we saw 200+ individuals ministered to weekly at meetings. We saw a large numbers of families and employers support those struggling with addictions. We were also asked to help advise secular institutions in implementing christian programs and refereed over 40 people to rehab and christian programs for recovery, helping them get the help they needed.
